Our goal is to promote and share the rich heritage of Guzheng and its music. We aim to introduce the music of Guzheng to more people, bring together Guzheng enthusiasts, and promote a greater understanding and appreciation of traditional Chinese music and culture.
Our primary goal is to make the study of guzheng and playing music fulfilling and fun. We create a positive, supportive and encouraging atmosphere for learning. Teaching style, curriculum, and approach are flexible, varied, and individually customized. We believe that motivation and enthusiasm is the key to all successful learning and we help students by providing interesting and enjoyable music, opportunities to play with others and perform for an audience, and at the same time helping them achieve technical competence through hard work, self-discipline and determination. Lessons are not just about learning to play the instrument. They are about the beauty of music, the joy of learning, and the excitement of seeing your world expand in many different ways.

The Red Flag Canal was constructed by a massive irrigation project in the 1960s, spanning nearly a decade, by local people to resolve water shortages and drought. This colossal project stretches over 1,500 kilometers along the mountainside of Taihang Mountain in HeNan.
"Water from the Happiness Canal Reaches Our Village" is a renowned guzheng piece composed by Fan Shang'e, Xiang Sihua, and Shen Liliang in 1974 after conducting in-depth research in the region. It is now a level-nine exam piece at the Central Conservatory of Music.
The piece portrays the spectacular scenes of turbulent waters flowing through the Red Flag Canal and the lively, joyful moments when the canal was opened. It also recalls the harsh conditions and resentful feelings during times of drought. Finally, the piece depicts the beautiful scenery surrounding the canal and the people's admiration for the better life that the Red Flag Canal has brought to them.
